George came to visit Justine and Nicholas in hospital today. Luckily, George arrived when Nicholas was awake and alert!

Nicholas meets Tineke
Justine and Nicholas had a visitor in hospital today – Tineke came in the afternoon for a cup of tea and a chat!

Back in hospital
Unfortunately, Nicholas was readmitted to hospital on 22 March, because his weight had dropped significantly since birth. He had not been feeding properly because he has a tied tongue which prevented him from getting enough milk.

First outing!
Nicholas went with Tim and Justine for a walk to the local market today. He didn’t stay awake for very long, and we didn’t find any buyers so we brought him home again!

Nicholas’s grandparents
Nicholas’s grandparents visited him in the hospital this afternoon. He spent most of the time sleeping, but Eileen, Kay and Bill were very pleased to meet him at last!

Nicholas and his Dad
Nicholas was born in the water, and gave his mum a cuddle as soon as he was born. After being weighed (at 3.16kg) he was passed to his dad, who held him until it was time to get him dressed!
