Nicholas has started swimming lessons, which he finds both fun and terrifying in equal measure. It’s fun bouncing around the pool, and singing “splish splash”, but he doesn’t like it when the instructor makes him go underwater. He’s getting better at it though, and doesn’t cough and splutter when he comes up for air now.
Nicholas first went swimming when we were on holiday in Devon, but he was held above water at all times then!

Hopefully he will learn very quickly what he needs to do if he ever falls in the sea or a lake. We’re concerned that we may need to sing “Humpty Dumpty” before that happens though!
