This afternoon we visited Christmas Tree Farm, where there are lots of animals to look at and feed. Nicholas was a bit scared of the sheep that made a lot of noise as we first went in, but he was very excited by the Shetland ponies and horses.
He also loved the rabbits and guinea pigs which were inside the farm buildings, possibly because it was a bit cooler in there (but not much!). It was a very hot day, and so we all went to the shaded picnic area afterwards to have an ice cream – or, in Nicholas’s case, a biscuit.
- Behind you!
- Wary of the baby goat
- First ice-lolly of the summer
- Nicholas isn’t normally allowed to sit on the table
- When mummy offers you her ice cream …
- … don’t turn away!
