Just across the road from our house is Park Corner, an area of grass which is bordered by a woodland. During the autumn, the ground was full of conkers, which Nicholas liked to collect. He also loved scrunching through the leaves. Now that the weather’s turned a bit wet, we still like going over to Park Corner, but now the attraction is Peppa Pig’s favourite – muddy puddles!
The best mud, though, is found in the woodland just off the green.

Nicholas has to be a little careful that he doesn’t step into any really deep puddles – he only has small wellies! – but he loves making the water splash around him
