Christmas! Today we took Nicholas to see Father Christmas in his grotto at Polhill where he was visiting with his helpers. Nicholas really enjoyed hiding behind the big cardboard cutouts before we went in, but unfortunately wasn’t too keen on Father Christmas himself!

When we went into the room with Father Christmas, Nicholas was a bit scared, until he found an ornament to look at which had a train going around and around. he watched this while Father Christmas told him and the other children a story about a Christmas tree, and then we went and saw some of Father Christmas’s friends and helpers, including a giant teddy bear and Rudolph.
